BIOGRAPHY
Igor Hristov, born on 23rd September 1982 in Skopje,R. Macedonia. Аt secondary school, he develops an interest for photography and begins participating at home and international exhibitions. After finishing secondary school, he takes great interest in films, and becomes a regular visitor to the film festivals and actively broadens his knowledge of film by reading film literature. Luckily, he manages to have a glimpse at a film set, and even more, to be part of one, by volunteering on home short and feature films. By enrolling on the National Film Academy in Sofia, he has the opportunity to make three short films on 35 millimeter film that are later invited to participate on numerous international film festivals.

2014 - Filming documentary film "Traffic life" in Canary island
2009 – 2015 – Works as a director and first assistant director on the advertising production Vertigo Visual– Skopje
2010 – Acquires a Master’s Degree at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts NATFA, course: Film and Television Director.
2009 – 2010 – Works as a first assistant on the feature film “Skopje Remix”
2005 – 2007 – Works as a director of advertisements, first assistant and casting director in the production house Dar Bg
2005 – Works in Sofia on the feature film “Train” as a third assistant director, in the production of Nu Boyana Film Studios
2004 – Works in Sofia on Ivan Nichev’s feature film “Children of wax” as a third assistant director
2003 – Enrolls on the National Academy NATFA in Sofia, the Republic of Bulgaria, course: Film and Television director
2002 – For the first time volunteers on Teona Mitevska’s feature film “How I Killed a Saint”, as a second assistant director
2000 – Finishes photography course at the National Technique/”Narodna tehnika” - Skopje
2001 – Finishes Secondary Technical School in Skopje
